New technologies law
The law firm Christophe Caron assists its clients for all issues relating to personal data protection (GDPR). Compliance with personal data law has become a key issue for companies in all business sectors.
Proper compliance with e-commerce regulations is also one of them. The firm carries out audits, drafts general terms and conditions of sale, terms of use, etc.
Computer law, especially drafting IT-related contracts (software licences, hosting, website design and maintenance contracts, etc.) is part of its business lines.
The firm supports all its clients’ projects involving new technologies, helps them to protect their domain names and databases during audits, pre-litigation or before the competent jurisdictions (CNIL, courts, etc.).
The firm provides its services, both as a plaintiff and a defendant, in litigation (notably in Internet liability issues), although it encourages negotiation and agreements .
Christophe Caron also serves as an expert for the WIPO Mediation and Arbitration Centre in UDRP proceedings. He is also the scientific director of the journal Communication Commerce Électronique (LexisNexis), and his experience, notably in this field, is widely recognised.
